Clear, matte or Color PPF: which should I choose?
Clear gloss PPF is near-invisible protection for a factory color you want to keep. Matte PPF keeps the color but turns the finish to satin. Color PPF changes the color entirely while protecting the paint underneath, in the same self-healing film.
Can ceramic coating go on top of PPF?
Yes, and it is the setup we recommend: PPF for physical protection, ceramic on top for gloss and easier washing. On a new full-body PPF install, the coating is the final step for $500.
When can I wash the car after PPF?
After the first 48 hours. From then on, use a pH-neutral shampoo; hand washing is recommended, and the film's hydrophobic top coat makes it easier.
