Color PPF vs. Vinyl Wrap vs. Repaint
There are three ways to change a vehicle's color, and they are not interchangeable. A full respray permanently alters the car — it can look spectacular, but it erases the factory finish, is difficult to reverse, and a color-changed repaint is one of the first things a future buyer's inspection flags. Satin and matte color films typically land mid-range: the material costs more and the installation is less forgiving, because a matte surface shows any handling flaw and cannot be polished afterward. Metallic, color-shift, and custom-ordered colors trend toward the top of the range, both for material cost and because low-volume colors are ordered per-project.
Partial color PPF is also an option — hoods, roofs, and accent panels are common — and prices proportionally. Every quote is per-vehicle: a Model 3 and an Escalade in the same film are very different jobs. Bring the car (or the spec sheet) and we quote it exactly.
